This appointment is for current clients only. Please schedule the "New Client" appointment if you're new to LettyWoman. Botulinum toxin is a neurotoxic protein produced by the bacterium Clostridium. It prevents the release of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine from axon endings at the neuromuscular junction, thus temporarily preventing muscle movements and sub-sequential skin wrinkling. Cosmetic Botox was approved by the FDA in 2002. Since then, Newtox and Xeomin have entered the market. Each one has very specific characteristics. Discuss with Letty to find which one best suites your needs.
